I’m Mikaela, a wedding photographer based in the Tri-Cities of Eastern Washington. I’ve spent more than a decade photographing people and the relationships that shape their lives, with a particular love for weddings because they bring so many generations of a family together in one place.
When I’m not photographing weddings, I’m usually at home with my family, wandering a thrift store, or collecting the old photographs and objects that remind me how much meaning ordinary things gain with time.
My approach is relaxed, observant and intentional. I’ll guide you when you need it, step back when the moment is already happening, and create photographs meant to become part of your family history.
